[KCDXC] RESULTS: Get a jump start on W0AR & N0SS this weekend

As an example of what a nice DX contest can do for building W0AR and N0SS
scores, here's the results of my 'fiddlin around on the ARRL CW contest:

For W0AR
---------
110 countries
35 zones

For N0SS
-------
493 QSO
370 mults

And to think did all that with JUST 5 WATTS! OK, just kidding on
the power. :)

No dedicated effort required. These results were pulled from about 15
visits down to the shack, with a total of just about 6 hours of actual chair
time.

Now if SSB is more to your liking, the ARRL DX contest is March 1-2. And
then there's the CQ WPX SSB (with lots of DX in that contest as well) at the
end of March 30.

Sunshine is one the way and it will be antenna work season soon. So rest
up.

See you all at the next meeting!

The ARRL CW contest is this weekend. Given the nice shape the bands are in,
this is a great opportunity get a jump start on the W0AR and N0SS contests
all the one go.

By chasing spots, you can rack up big country counts fast. The exchange is
simple (5NN KS or 5NN MO) so even if your code is rusty, you can still work
the DX like the big boys do. And this contest a great way to try out the
(free) N1MM logger.
