And for those that want to get some real operating time at a time of your
choosing, consider joining the Dog Hollow Contest Group operating
A-Kay-9-Dog at Belton Memorial Park.

Field Day begins with dinner and beer at Jose Pepper's on Rte 58 West in
Belton at 4 p.m. Friday, followed by antenna setup and break for the night
by dark.

Set-up resumes 0900 Saturday with operations starting at 1300. We are
particularly interested in people with serious CW contesting skills.
Saturday evening will have some "special events" taking place for all
participants.

Tear-down for us usually takes less than two hours on Sunday.

AK9D is accompanied by WG0TA (We Get 0n The Air) and will be operating Class
4A.

We will have at least two tribanders on short (30') towers), Carolina
Windoms, 80m quad loops and various and sundrie other antennas for all bands
80m through 70cm. Plenty of space available for operators for any length of
time interested! We've got all our equipment lined up and ready to rock, so
c'mon play with the new kids and help us make the Top 10 in Class 4A!!!

Our site is located next to the pre-school center at the extreme north end
of Memorial Park. Turn left at Quik Trip then left again where the road
begins to turn toward downtown Belton. The street dead-ends right into our
site!

Contact Phil, WV0T, or Jim, KU0G for more information.
