[KCDXC] W0DXCC 2010 and KCDXC

Alex, I have some questions since your response sounded so negative-----here goes:

1. IS the KCDXC the sponsor or maybe will be at new meeting, why not use the KCDXC reflector??  I always thought the sponsor was free to choose assistance from other clubs, etc as it desires.
2. Also why not have a section of KCDXC website for the W0DXCC convention if the club is sponsoring it??
3. Point blank at you---are you against the KCDXC sponsoring the W0DXCC convention??  It sure sounds like it.  If so, please explain why.
4.  IF not allowed to use the monies and treasury of the KCDXC for the convention, does that mean any profits from the convention also do not go to the KCDXC treasury after the convention is over??  So it sounds like the people doing the work can share the profits---right??

Thanks,

If you involve every DXer in the 0 district, you'll never reach consensus on
anything.

The last thing I need is one more reflector to subscribe to.

Looks like the KCDXC members need to vote on what they want to do.

Guys,
A lot of promo talk, but until now we all heard only one voice talking
about W0DXCC-and most likely it will not work like that, isn't obvious? That
was a tradition of the W0DXCC until now, to have three equal co-chairs and
no single self claimed chair. Keep it that way, since it's W0 regional
activity and not a club. For now I would propose AC0C and AC0KN as a
co-chairs. May be extended to five members and work as a W0DXCC committee?
Also-one observation and reminder-W0DXCC need to  be separate from
KCDXC-financially and organizationally. W0DXCC need to include all clubs of
the organizing area as well (All KC clubs) in order to organize something
meaningful, not become just another extended 'new'  KCDXC club meeting.

Another W0DXCC (byrg?) reflector should be created to cover W0DXCC
activities, with involvement of all W0 hams.   Whoever is interested in this
activity need to subscribe-that will be going on for a year! Same applies to
the WEB-no KCDXC WEB need to be dedicated to this activity. I know that not
all KCDXC members want to be involved. Please create W0DXCC reflector in
next 10 days or so and try not to use official KCDXC reflector in the
future.
We have said at last meeting that "NO" KCDXC finances will be involved and
I will keep it that way. KCDXC may endorse W0DXCC...but that depends on the
future developments. No KCDXC finances at any point though.

Proposed program at this point is no more than repeat of the 5 month of the
KCDXC meetings. Is it really what W0DXCC will be about? Bring some talent
from ALL W0 clubs+ and some really new ideas.
We will not dedicate all future meetings  of the KCDXC to W0DXCC
activities-W0 will have to have other place and meetings. It is obvious that
not all members are interested in participating.
Lee, please find another time and place for the W0DXCC meetings. First
Saturday of the month at 1200 at Perkins sounds like a plan for now.

Club will take care on KCDXC treasurer position in working order, thanks
for the suggestion though. I officially did not hear from Jeff yet, I think.
Mike have said few times that he don't want to be treasurer and would like
to do newsletter only. That is how Jeff's nomination came along. Will try to
meet Mikes request.

Thanks, Alex KU1CW-KCDXC President.
