Times I will try and be on 160 meters and 40 meters
0415 to 0425 1.845.00 +- QRM SSB
0425 to 0430 1.825.50 +- QRM CW Send CW slow and
Clear
0430 to 0440 7.170.00 +- QRM SSB
Please note That I may be delayed going to 40 meters
if I'm working stations on 160 meters
Also I can only hope your Static levels go down below
59 so you can hear me for the report.
Ours average lately around 54 to 59, sometimes lower
and sometime higher but still able to copy SSB and CW
signals with no problem between the static, that's how
I can tell if your 55 to 59+ because your signals push
the meter up.
have had no problems working people on 40 meters after
160 meter skeds, With your help we can find the best
time to work, let me know when you hear South Pacific
stations and also Europe stations.
If you work me with high power try after using 100 or
200 watts to work me, Also when you call me on 160
switch between 100 watts and high power and will let
you know on 40 meters what the difference was.
I can normally hear you all 55 to 59 on SSB and 55 to
59+20 on CW (W8JI Tom GA.)
I just cut the dipole 1 foot so less SWR on 1.845.00
now, Dipole up at 45 to 50 feet at the moment till the
trees grow.
Using ICOM 751A (Tnx W7VV Rodger) with a Heil Headset
mike 100 Watts only.
I can switch between any band in a matter of seconds
to 160 because of the flat SWR on 160 and the rest of
the bands, I use no tuner, just resonant antennas on
the bands.
Pass this info on to Hams that are interested in 160
meters.
