IOTA EXPEDITION NA-031  LATE JULY     FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE



Kansas hams Alan W�NO and Bruce K�BJ are activating Block Island, Rhode
Island  NA-031 from July 20 - 28, including the IOTA contest.  Activity and
shakedown will occur during the week with individual calls while they also
do sightseeing with their families. QSL via buro or direct.



During the IOTA contest July 26-27 they'll be joined by K1TTT op.  Mike
K1TWF doing multiop and signing N1DX.  Jack N1DX and Bruce teamed up for
their 1979 Yankee Trader Round the World DXpedition, and more recently
jointly operated /KP5 in 1992. QSL the N1DX contest operation via buro or
direct.



K1TWF and K�BJ sit together as Vice Directors at ARRL board meetings and
will have just completed the summer board meeting in Windsor Locks CT a week
prior to the contest.



Equipment is IC756 PRO II, ACOM amp, FT-847, numerous Force 12 yagis and
SVDAs.
