Mike: I have been an avid reader of the KCDXC Newsletter for years....an=
d I have enjoyed every one of them. Even the ones that poke fun at me...=
.Having done a newsletter for another group, I know how hard it is to gat=
her, type, print and listen to the complaints. I feel that you do an exc=
ellent job and I wish to thank you for your efforts. I, for one would li=
ke to receive the newsletter via the internet....however, I have develope=
d problems with this issue.
First, the laptop (Compaq) is my choice computer. For some reason, when =
I go to read the newsletter, it will download it into Word 2000. If some=
one can tell me how to change to Acrobat 5.0 I would be greatful. The ot=
her computer (the one I am typing on now) is a G _ _ damn Gateway....down=
more than up.....today, when I tried reading the newsletter it did fine =
until I got to page three (the EI8...) article when Acrord32 illegal oper=
ation error popped up and locked the computer. I can go no further....an=
y help here is appreciated. By the way, it downloaded it in Acrobat 4.0.=
...anyway, those are my thoughts...either way you would like to do it is =
fine with me....again, I really appreciate your work.....73 Larry K0RWL

KCDXC Members,
If we don't have more people than this participating in the electroni=
c
newsletter, it's a waste of time. The whole purpose of doing this was to
save money for the club! We spend lots of cash every month for printing a=
nd
postage.
It is a pain to do all the extra work, literally hours of it, and show no
benefit.
Every single person who reads this email tonight can get the newsletter o=
n
line!
This is typical KCDXC apathy. We all hear about how everyone wants to do
something for the club. Well, step up to the plate, and send in your requ=
est
immediately.
