[KCDXC] Beverage Question

Hi Guys,

I am sure that someone knows the answer to this question.

Does a beverage hear broadside like a dipole or does it hear in the
direction it is "pointed"?

I have the ON4UN Low Band Dxing book & it is wonderful reading, however
sometimes I can not find answers to the simple questions.

I remember Toms beverages but  don't recall what was on each end & how
they were connected to the coax.
