NO!!!!! I and other have submitted under the club and have gotten wallpaper
back listing the club affiliation. Why the club is NOT listed, is anyones
guess.

okie dokie
> 8.2. Only clubs actively affiliated with the ARRL may participate in the

ARRL
> HQ within the last two years.
Again., someone will have to address this that has more info than me.
> 8.3. For a club to be listed, the following conditions must be met:
> 8.3.1. Entries from three different members of the club must be submitted.
I dont see where this is a problem. Never was in the past, but then times
and lives have changed so it depends on how many people are able to work in
the contests.
> 8.3.2. The entry must clearly indicate the club name in the Cabrillo file
> header.
That shouldn't be a major problem as all the contest logging programs
require this info BEFORE the cabrillo file is generated. I know this because
I am a registered user of Writelog, CT and NA. All 3 are the same in that
aspect.
> 8.3.3. The club secretary must send a list of all club members eligible to

> 8.3.4. A member's score must be shown in the contest results to be counted

> corrections) will count for the club competition.
Ok Tom, you have convinced me....you got my vote for secretary....
Granted the rules have changed since alot of the club has participated in
contests, so I cannot blame them for not knowing what Cabrillo is or how the
club submittal requirements have changed. But I do know this, the club is,
has and will be a major contributor to club scores. It is just that people
and responsibilties have changed since the "old days". And I think this club
submittal stuff is pretty well been beat into ground. We should discuss this
at the next meeting.
