If all that is needed to submit the activity under the KCDXC banner is
three logs from KCDXC members, I am willing to write up my couple
hundred QSOs as a formal log and submit it even though I usually avoid
SSB contesting like the plague. All that is now needed is to get one
other member to do the same. Let me know if I should start writing (g)

I must admit my memory is fading in my twilight years but I am
sure that I have seen the KCDXC club mentioned in many of the
contests over the past 25+ years and we did/do (?) have a member
who had, in years past, handled the compilation and submission
of contest log info that was being submitted for club credit. I also
thought that was one of the reasons why Mike always provided a
copy of the contest paper work in the news letter with "KC DX
Club" already preprinted for the lazy ones among us.

Had I been an operator for the AE9B operation, I'm afraid I would
have to side with Marty. It sure sounded like a KCDXC activity to
me at the meetings, on the reflector, etc. How about submitting
the two view points, along with copies of the various e-mails covering
the "facts", to CQ and see how they think it should be credited? (g)

Sorry, but I just couldn't resist stirring the pot a bit myself. In my own
defense, I must say that I have never been accused of not liking 9-landers
(or anyone else) except when a new DX country fades into the mud while
working 9's.
