I have noticed that in many HF, and some VHF transceivers the design of the
transceiver
creates problems with RF or other feedback when the TNC is left connected to
the rear
accessories connector on the radio- while using the mike.

My concern is I am putting together an emergency ops center for my agency
and want radios that are truly multimode and do not have this feedback
problem
with a hardwired TNC.  Disconnecting the TNC when changing back to voice,
fumbling
with added switch boxes or kluge are not options.

Can someone please suggest HV/VHF multimode transceiver and TNC options that
once the TNC is plugged into the rear connector, can be left plugged in?
