[Kantronics] Packet software for Kantronics KAM Plus

I use my qsl.net address as my standard email address and it concerns me if
it should fail
often.
I am sure everyone would be interested in any practical solution to replace
the TCM-3105 modem IC and answers would be welcome on the list. However,
off list mail can be sent to [email protected].
Thanks to everyone who has responded directly with information. Burt VE2BMQ
suggested using the MX-604 modem IC from MX-COM. I shall investigate and
post my findings.
I must add that I do not have any failed equipment at present. I am only
concerned that any of my TCM-3105 ICs could fail and leave me stranded.
