Desmond,
We are very fortunate to have your involvement in the various organizations on the island. If I could I would book a flight from Detroit to San Francisco and see all of the changes that have taken place. Unfortunately my wife can’t be left alone and is unable to travel. I would love to see photos of the island and appreciate it very much.
Best regards,
Mike K8AGY

I've served as a director on the board of the Treasure Island Museum Association, though I am not currently. I'm also a past commodore of the Treasure Island Yacht Club, though not so active there anymore. I defer to Pete, WA6UDU there.

This housing area will soon be finished clearing out and I'll go with it to make way for an open space park. The first ham shack facing the city went long ago to make Navy housing. The 70's shack that was behind the post office is now part of a sports complex under construction. If there's interest I can take some pictures.
