I'm a Past Commodore at TIYC and I think Pete WA6UDU is still on the board.  We would be delighted to put something together.

I'm not sure what's going to happen to Fleet Week out here this year with no Blue Angels, but if you want be able to see anything that's left on the island, you need to come soon.  You missed the demolition of the second shack and its foundation a few years ago, but there are still many things to see out here.  There's a 40-foot nude woman (sculpted in mesh steel) right in from of the old BOQ's, A pizza joint running out of the Nimitz Center.  A bar in the former yacht club building (the yacht club moved next door).  Wine tasting in the old Reserve Center building.  We also have several more wineries in different places and even a distillery doing business out of the Brig!
