A classic example of the HIGH CALIBER of folks who belonged to the club and
went to ET-A school. Overall, the most astoundingly amazing group of folks
I ever served with.

>From Dave - K4TO:
A little later, during the time I was there from July '62 until May '63,
there was another member of K6NCG. His first name was Jim, but I can't
remember his call. He started with a cardboard box full of new spare
parts for a Model 33 TTY and built an entire unit, piece by piece. The
cardboard box was about 3' x 3' x 4 1/2' tall and had hundreds of parts,
each individually wrapped in plastic bags. I believe he had never seen
one of the mod 33's, but had the manual and just sat in the back room,
reading the manual and putting the thing together. It took him months,
but he finished it before I left.
73,
Dave, K4TO
