Hi Tom!  Is this the same Tom, formerly WA0 Electric Apple Juice who worked at Burstein-Applebee
with Phil, whose call you now have?  I read your interesting story!  Anyway, I first saw K6NCG  in July
of 1964 and it became my Navy Home when I was transferred to TI for shore duty!  I quickly became
a believer in the fact that the worst shore duty is better than the best sea duty in the Navy!
I live in Texas and self-serve stations are a thing of the past, like tube radios - I still have some old WW2
Command receivers which still work perfectly after all these years!
