Thanks for the e-mail, Chip; I was at K6NCG in 1964 and then in 1965-66 when I got transferred to shore duty
at TI. (Boy was that hard to take after 6 months on a ship floating off the coast of Vietnam!)  I think the first class
PO you mention is Duane Schneider; he made chief in 1964.  Anyway, I looked at Dan (WM7W)'s web page and 
it was easy to recognize some of the folks in the pictures.  I need to write to him and tell him what a good job he
did too.  I took a bunch of photos and sent some to one person in charge of the K6NCG web site but to date he
never has put any of them up.  Oh well, there are some nice ones here.  Thanks for the good words.
