It is interesting to note that you have hit close, but not on, the date
you are looking for. I graduated from ET 'A'School on May 3, 1963. I
entered in July of 1962. This means that I missed both field days. I
remember Whit Cotten, W4CXQ, Frank Mizell, K4DGU (SK), Tom Dailey,
Jim, K5LFY, Jack.K4...(missing memory cells)... Some of the field day
stories that were told were a hoot. I'm sorry I missed them both.
