Well, that was FUN!!
I just listened to a nice ascending pass from OSCAR 7, right overhead.
Copied several calls and a couple of CW qso's near the bottom of the
downlink freq.
Not too bad for a formerly dead satellite that now works with NO batteries
to help it out.
1974 to 2011. I would call that getting our money's worth!
Heck, I might have to break out the antennas and az/el rotor and get serious
about it again! ;>)
I'll just do it with QRP...
If I can hear signals at 100mw then I guess I don't need much more than that
in the uplink.
