You are cordially invited to attend the March 19 MDARC meeting at which Lt. Coln Keppler, CO of the Beale AFB Space Defense Radar will make a presentation on Beale Radar and the coexistence of Amateur Radio operations on the 70 cm Band.
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MEETING TO ATTEND.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 pm at the All Souls Lutheran Church at 1035 Carol Lane Lafayette, California. As parking may be tight, please car pool, if possible.
Talk in will be provided on the MDARC W6CX repeater 147.060MHz – plus offset, PL 100.
When you arrive at the Church, parking guides will direct you to your parking place.
DIRECTIONS:
>From the East.
Take Hwy 680 North or South to the Route 24 Exit West to Oakland and San Francisco.
Take the first exit on Route 24, the Pleasant Hill Rd Exit – South – Pleasant Hill Road.
Pass under the freeway.
Immediately to the right will be Mount Diablo Blvd.
Continue West on Mount Diablo Blvd. to Carol Lane, which will be on your left,
Turn left onto Carol Lane until you reach 1035 Carol Lane – the Lutheran chuch.
Continue past the church to the parking lot on the right.
There should be signs and parking guides.
>From the West
Take Hwy 24 East – Coming from the East Bay you will pass through the Caldicott Tunnel.
Take the Pleasant Hill Rd Exit – South.
Loop around to the first electric stop light.
Turn Left to the second electric stop light.
Turn left at the second electric stop light on to Mount Diablo Blvd.
Continue West on Mount Diablo Blvd. to Carol Lane, which will be on your left,
Turn left onto Carol Lane until you reach 1035 Carol Lane – the Lutheran chuch.
Continue past the church to the parking lot on the right.
There should be signs and parking guides.
