Hi Dave,

There is a Yaesu dual-meter (not cross-needle) bridge at the clubhouse. I
was using it the other night, and want to replace a resistor, but it should
be suitable. It is smaller than the cross-needle type.

There is a 2-m four or five-element loop beam in the storage area at the
clubhouse which should be a good antenna. I also have a 3-element beam.
Jack, WA6JYU thinks he has a 6 meter antenna, and is interested in the VHF
contest (has worked it regularly). I have given him your phone number.

Yes, the TS-2000 is 6-2-450mHz multi-mode capable.

Still looking for a generator for field day!

Bill

Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone had a Daiwa CN-520 or similar cross-needle
SWR/watt meter that they might be willing to sell or loan to me. Here's an
image of what I'm looking for:

I'd really like to borrow one to bring to Brazil next month for the World
Radiosport Team Champoinships. I'm very space and weight limited, and the
ability to see both power output and SWR will be extremely helpful. I do
not think this meter (or anything like it) is in production. There's a
larger model available, but it's too big to haul in my luggage (and
expensive!)

I have 2 more weeks off until the summer semester begins. If anyone has
a spare 6M and 2M yagi available, I'm willing to put them on the mast on the
shack roof. The ARRL VHF contest is coming up soon and I believe the club's
TS-2000 is VHF capable.

Thanks!
73, Dave N2NL
