[K6BW] Tuesday Night at Hamilton

Hi Paul,

We have had CW practice nets but none are active at the moment and of course
have the repeater.  Otherwise, seems much contact goes on over the phone, at
meetings and through e-mail.

Great on the amps!

There have been a couple of Scouts interested, one in particular was very
interested and borrowed a key and study manuals to obtain a license.
Unfortuately haven't heard from him, and haven't been at all the Thursday
night scout meetings to find out how he his doing.

The Cub Scouts have expressed interest in building a crystal set (in fact
one of the older scouts asked if he could build one).  Think it takes being
there at the right place and time to make it happen, though.

Keep trying the repeater.  Sorry we've missed you.  Same with the meetings,
though know everyone is busy.

Hey, Bill.  Is there a net where the Hamiltons hang out regularly or
occasionally?  I just ordered three HLA-300 solid state amps from H&Y
Electronics, and will be installing one here in Petaluma.  I can bring one
in for the group's inspection.  Pretty nice amp, pretty nice price ($390 in
quantities of 3, $360 in quantities of 5 or more).

I have not been to a meeting in a long time.  Have the Scouts
started using the Icom 718 I gave the club for them to get started in HAM?
