[K6BW] Question -- Second Attempt

Sorry, folks. The query was put together last night after code practice for transmittal this morning. It got sent, alright, but somewhere in the process the body of the e-mail got deleted! So here goes again ...........

The frequency we use for code practice may be a problem. Some of the responses when the practice sessions were first announced dealt with requests to change the frequency, being unable to use 7.045, etc. My question is: how much of a problem is the frequency for people to join us?

One of the reasons I'm asking this is that we have found several other stations coming in on top of us when we start up. I'm thinking that if we can find another frequency to use that isn't that popular and that people want to use, we could avoid tying up a frequency others want to use and avoid the QRM problems we're having now. I agree we're going to have to deal with QRM anyway, but why make it more of a problem than necessary?

If we can't find another frequency we'll continue to use 7.045 MHz. Any suggestions?
