Dear Bill & the Gang,

Here is a thought.

I have a Heath GR-81 regren receiver.  It's very nice with isolation 
transformer, one stage of audio amplification, and a very nice cabinet with 
included loudspeaker,  I believe you can pick them up for about $25 and it 
might be a very nice starting point for such a project as this.

My GR-81 sits on my desk at work and I listen to KUBA Yuba City almost 
every day, it makes my life more pleasant.
