Even though neither are MARS members, I would like to thank Jack Troup =
and Bill Stewart for the help they provided in putting up the MARS Node =
antenna this weekend. The "almost 7 MHz" dipole antenna is working =
very well.
The automated node will be made active tomorrow and will accept messages =
from all over the world for distribution in Northern California. MARS =
is the Military Auxiliary Radio Service that transports personal =
messages between enlisted military personnel and their families and =
friends.
Thanks again, and "Bravo Zulu" to Jack and Bill.
73 de Bill, AB6MT
