>We have demonstrated with QRP rigs the last two years. We set up a simple transmitter and use a portable radio to receive. This year we can show off our Rock-Mites.

>Young Scouts seem to really enjoy CW! They are also interested in building simple crystal radio sets. May have an example at the table. Can you help?

>The California Historical Radio Society will be holding their annual San Rafael swap meet Saturday, June 7, 8:00AM to about 11:00AM in San Rafael in the parking lot near Lindaro and Third Streets. If you like radio sets that glow in the dark or related goodies, you'll really enjoy the swap.

>JULY 19th MARS Northern California Regional Conference
>
>Saturday, July 19. We are again hosting the Northern California region conference at Building 549. Over 20 MARS members from all over Northern California and Nevada will be attending and HWA members are welcome. If you'd like to join us for lunch, please let me know so you can be added to the lunch list. There will be a charge (yet to be finalized) to cover the cost of the meal, something under $100 from what I hear. :^) It should be reasonable. MARS issues will be discussed and Technical Seminars are held in the afternoon. There is also talk about a mini-swap meet.
