Pacificon 2003 (ARRL's Pacific Division Amateur Radio Convention) will =
be held this year October 17-19 at the San Ramon Marriott Hotel.  =
Specific info can be found at http://www.pacificon.org.

Of interest is a packet received in the Hamilton Wireless mailbox, an =
envelope containing a flyer and a handful of convention pamphlets.

This year, they are offering a pre-admission discount with your club =
membership.  If you wish to attend Pacificon this year, you can get an =
advance ticket for just $10.00.   The Friday Antenna Seminar is an =
additional $10.00, the breakfast is $12.50 and the banquet is $39.00. =20

(Makes our steak dinner at Field Day and the chicken BBQ at the MARS =
convention look good - and the food was good!)

Let me know if you are interested, and get me the funds by the next HWA =
Club meeting.  We need to write a single order to them in order to =
obtain the advance tickets.  They have requested at least two weeks to =
process the order, so if we mail it in after our next meeting, you =
should have your tickets well before the event.
