A good soldering iron for this project (and other projects with small components)
Is the Radio Shack 15 watt iron . Think it costs about 7 or 8 bucks
It has a very small point and is great for small components. Part # is 64-2051B
extra tips # 64-2052
Also they have a great solder for this project. It is .015 dia.. silver
bearing solder
#64-035.  The .062 dia.  # 64-007 (or smaller)  solder is ok too if you
can't get the .015 stuff.
