anchors ?!!  I thought I was the only one interested in boat anchors !!
Got to crew on the delivery of a brand new 47' Trawler between Portland
and here.  The skipper uses all the repeaters along the way and finds
the 2 meter folks real helpful regarding weather news.  Many are in
pretty remote  spots along the Oregon coast and look forward to his
contacts.  They're disappointed when it's foggy and they can't see him
in transit.           This experience gives me reason to keep  up on my
skills.                                     Got radar on the boat so am
heading "out there".. Ya-hoo.                                       I'm
always looking for good crew.
