Hi All, After discussing this shelving problem with Bill and reading your
comments today I put together a estimate of costs for various types of
shelving.
If we want bookcases made of cabinet grade plywood the plywood is anywhere
from $42.00 to $56.00 depending on grade of the wood. For the least
expensive grade I estimate $315.00. Now these would require rather extensive
labor to cut to size and route dados for shelves and glue everything
together. Then there is the finishing and I have no estimate on those costs.
If we were to use vertical double steel standards that would be screwed to
the wall into the studs it would cost about $167.00. This includes four
shelves per unit and 24 brackets.
If we wanted to use melamine 12" wide predrilled sides (end pieces) for
shelf pins to support the shelves.
Plus the shelves and brackets it would cost around $165.00
Or if we wanted to buy bookcases with 3 adjustable shelves and 2 fixed
shelves. Four, 72x30xx12 that we assemble would cost approx $200.00.
So those are the choices. What do you think?

> 2) Build the antenna (stay tuned, no pun intended, for further details)
