[K3PZN-List] Net control volunteer roster.......

Mike - there is no proposal to change either net, I think Pete was 
trying to ask collectively if Tuesday had become less attractive to 
people over the years and if so was another night a better choice to get 
more activity. The net has greatly shrunk in participation over time. 
Wednesday seems to be working well for the 6M net so I don't think we'd 
want to use that day/time in any case even if a bunch of folks said they 
had developed conflicts on Tuesdays we'd look for an alternative.

Over the last few years I think Steve or I are the net control most 
weeks, Steve probably 90% of the time. We both travel for work so we're 
not always around and I sometimes get a fire call near net time even 
when I'm planning to do it. Consequently the net gets skipped some 
weeks. Years ago we had a rotation / sign up to be net control and it 
worked rather well. I'd like to try to bring that back. One of the key 
functions of the net is training, and getting folks to step up and be 
NCS will get them valuable experience.

If you are interested in being a net control on the Tuesday night net 
let Pete know what night you'd like to do it. I'll be first and 
volunteer for 1/17 but I'll need a backup just in case.
