[K3PZN-List] Net control volunteer roster.......

My experience is that with a script, no special expertise or dispensation is required for the club's weekly 2m net.

Traditionally it has been called the CARET net since before my time in Carroll County, but all amateur radio related discussion is welcome.

If we have a volunteer, get her/him registered for ARES (if this is the requirement, which it might be tradition also).

Given the light use of the repeater - consideration for nets of various flavors should be encouraged.

Hard to sense if there is a better evening the Tuesday?  Fred's antennas must be real good to have so many choices!

Back to the workbench, or being in the kitchen with the XYL - or watching NFL a bit.  Or SKCC or DX'ing -- or rediscovery of digital HF -- opportunity abounds in between work days.

 Mike,

Thanks.  As I'm new to the club help me understand better.  You're saying
that the Tuesday 8:30 pm net is a ARES/RACES net using the CCARC repeater.
The implication here is that ARES/RACES is considered a separate entity
from the CCARC.  If this is a correct understanding, I'll happily cease and
desist my activities with respect to that net.

How much activity does the 6 meter swap net get?
