Hi all,
Reminder: Please set your Android phone or iPhone alarm for TUESDAY eves at 8:00 PM for our weekly CENTRAL MARYLAND RASPERRY PI NET on the club repeater, K3PZN/R, 145.410 MHz FM. We meet just before the regular CARET Net.
MORE AND MORE club members are getting closer to completing our first two "Pi" projects. Those are, in no particular order once your Raspberry Pi is up and running with the latest version of the Raspbian Jessie OS, we are (1) striving to interface it to a low-cost USB* "sound card" and a transceiver. We hope to run a digital Test Net in the next week or two with our Pi's. And we are also striving to (2) turn our Pi's into the Pi-rate Radio (as a 2m Fox Hunt transmitter), as described in earlier e-mail messages, over our on-air Nets, and at the monthly club meetings.
See links to previous info below.
Need help? A bunch of us are here to help make it happen! You are invited to join us.
Our primary Net Control Station is Kyle, KC3FMP, of Mount Airy, Md.
Hope to C U soon on the air to learn more!
Cheers,
Pat
