Kyle,
There is some information to help you with the transition on the Straight Key Century Club (SKCC) page and when you start to get the characters down and feel like you want to get yer feet wet then these guys are always willing to help with CONSTRUCTIVE information and they love to work stations just getting started in CW.  And CW is what they are about.  you can find information at: http://www.skccgroup.com/member_services/beginners_corner/
The nice thing about this group is that its free, you get a unique membership that is yours for life its never reused... and did I mention its free? Several local fellows are members as well... AH6AX, AC2C, W3DF as well as myself... ohh and its free!
I operate pretty much all CW so if I can be of help please let me know by private email... I am in QRZ.COM
