In 2012, a similar event just missed the earth. So, who knows when but for sure you want to be disconnected from antennas, the internet and and 
power grids when it hits. Taking some precautions ahead of time will 
determine whether you gear survives or not. There is information out 
there, but first line of defense is not be connected and have those
leads protected so you can hook up if you survive.
