Ok thanks Curt! Are these stations such as WN3R-10 like a repeater that when
I post a message to it such as to joe of Fredrick when said joe connects to
that station they receive my message? If that's true then ill have to test
that out with a messaged addressed to myself.

Hi all,
I found out recently that I can use my kenwood d72a on packet radio with RMS
express. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing but I was able to connect and
send a text message to WN3R-10. Can someone please explain a little more
about what I can do with packet. It seems kinda pointless if your just
posting a message to a station.
