The only real difference is adding one or two cw stations, as original plan did ot have cw.

Ray/Kerri are uncertain participants.  If we scratch wo3l we could have only one ssb station.  One could consider enlisting n3vop for 40m ssb, and doing no or less digital.

Ray would like to set up next to Niner road.  I don't think anyone else will have a yagi at 60 feet so that should help some.

If we are short I could also provide a ssb rig, but would need to borrow a yaesu headset.

Agree let us minimize stuff to put up yet have enough rigs for the team.  I am willing to operate some ssb as a fill in op.

Our plan has lattitude to come together, and I think we can lick site qrm with what we are thinking.

Wow, this isn't even remotely close to what was discussed at the meeting
(that's what I get for spending a week out of the country). The
discussion there ended on a 3 station setup with an option to add a 4th
with the Ab577. Since this has run off on its own I'll back out of
captaining one of the stations (we've got plenty of people setting one
up at this point so I don't need to spend tonight ripping my shack
apart). I will bring the following out on Saturday AM:
-2 x 2kw generators
-ac power cords
-gas cans
-coax
-band filters

>> We did this with WX3B, K1RH and K3WI a few years ago.  There was zero interference between the 3 stations on the same antenna; in fact the only interference recorded at our site was from the 20m SSB position which interfered with us on 20cw due to spacing that was too close, and the FTDX-3000 which is known to generate measurable phase noise.  If you can put 500 feet between 20cw and 20ssb, and do not beam through the CW station, that problem should not be repeated.  This is one easy way to get a big signal on 3 HF bands at once!  If there is any interest, please email me.

>> As you can imagine, the other phone ops would be wise to move into Ray/Kerri's general neighborhood !  This phone community needs to have enough room to support both 40 and 80 m radiators.  I myself would put these onto the same mast -- as we have Dunestar filters to provide extra margin - and the rig filters are almost good enough to function on their own (a K2 and FT950 or FT3000 did just fine when they were on different bands.  (Jim and Rob were even going to trying sharing a beam with a triplexer - but I am not so brave without a lot of patient testing!  I honestly don't suggest this.  )
