Very cool.  Nice to know I am not the only area op with a tt1340.  It is a nice experience to make contacts with a rig built yourself.   Mine hasn't been on in a while but I did operate an hw8 over the holidays.  

I found my vfo stability improved when I modified the PA for cleaner stability.  Yes its 4 or 5 watts does make it to Europe rather easily when QRN is low.
