Thanks for posting, and also to Jim for his comments.
Clearly we all appreciate the organization does not exist to conduct business.
Our January meeting featured strong attendance (more than any meeting I have attended in a while) and lots of energy. N3SB led us in a spirited roundtable that got us all into the discussion.
Definitely we wish to promote enthusiasm for radio activity, and continuing to mentor newer hams (and those licensed for a long time also). Perhaps a key message of the 'un-club' is we must be intentional how we use our meeting events, and not let business get in the way.
Of course we still need a formal organization to complete our mission of maintaining repeaters and club resources.
