If we don't have a commitment from Laurel by Oct 10th I'll take care of getting ARRL materials in hand so we can still have the exams provided we get the necessary VE's by the 21st.

My son is also planning to take the test so I cannot handle any test related papers again this time. I've contacted John Creel of the Laurel VEC to see if his group can run a free session for us again this year as they did last year. Do we have any other Laurel certified VEs to help out? 

Last year John allowed any VE to help out so even ARRL or W5YI VEs would be welcome. 

I'll post all news here as it comes in.

We have a request for exams at the hamfest... Do we have members who are 
ARRL VE's that are planning on attending and can spare an hour? I'm one 
but we need 2 more (3 would be better so if someone has a last minute 
emergency we are not up the creek).
