I suggest also we do a Laurel VEC exam if we can. AA3IR Ed participated last year, and I will be willing to join the exam team by filling out the required Laurel paperwork.

PS - whether its CQWW weekend or not, I don't care. Somehow I received a second place phone certificate for third district last year, to go with my second place CW certificate (both in low power unassisted). Interesting both times I finished second to the same op.

Andy,
My son is also planning to take the test so I cannot handle any test related papers again this time. I've contacted John Creel of the Laurel VEC to see if his group can run a free session for us again this year as they did last year. Do we have any other Laurel certified VEs to help out?
Last year John allowed any VE to help out so even ARRL or W5YI VEs would be welcome.
I'll post all news here as it comes in.

We have a request for exams at the hamfest... Do we have members who are
ARRL VE's that are planning on attending and can spare an hour? I'm one
but we need 2 more (3 would be better so if someone has a last minute
emergency we are not up the creek).
Please let me know...
Thanks,
Andy
