[K3PZN-List] 10 meters is really active

Pete is exactly right, if you haven't turned on 10 meters at about 9:00am (or earlier) recently, you're missing out on a treat.  The band is on FIRE!

Even if you have a short vertical or low dipole, you will be amazed by what you can hear and work.
