Very FB -- we will work to get you plugged back in! Do participate in field day this year if you can ! Yes it is literally our next 'meeting' - its one of two BIG events on our club's social calendar!
I confess to have enough interests also, and they do tend to vary. I am one of the crazies that sometimes will melt solder building stuff, hence my interest in this topic.
So which Knight Tx were you using and what did you receive with? I will also be glad to talk modern gear with you also, from QRP to the appliance rigs from the east (or US). Also if you come to FD, you can operate several different kinds of rigs (at least 3 types will be there).

I was introduced to ham radio in 1961 and built a cw transmitter using
a kit from Allied electronics. I used to dream over the radio's in
the Layette catalogue. In 1963 I would talk on my uncle's drake tr7.
Life got in the way of my interests and I did not get back into radio
until 1993 when in 7 weeks I went from a no-code tech to an extra -
copying 25 wpm. I was involved in testing at Laurel, Timonium with
BRATS, Palmer park with ARRL and Frederick fair grounds with CARA. I
have since lost interest in ham radio and have recently picked it up
again. I just joined the club about a month ago hoping to get active
again. I hope to get to a meeting in the near future and meet some of
the fine members of this club. I was a member once before a number of
years ago.
