Dear CCARC field day fans,
I am pleased to announce that our very own President Andy WO3L has volunteered to lead the Saturday night dinner effort this year!
Curt, WB8YYY has officially signed himself up to captain a CW station and will be looking for a few good operators to keep his station going.
While it is true that we have one more club meeting before field day, as Curt suggests it would be a great idea to get an estimated head count of the number of participants - so please let me know what your attendance and operating plans for field day are and I will direct you to the appropriate station captain(s).
Even if your plans are just to join us for Saturday dinner - let me know so we can get an accurate head count for food purchases.
Here is an updated list of the leadership assignments: Note that we are in need of 10m, 40m, and 80m SSB team captains...and when those captains come forward they will need operators!
Also - if we have someone that would like to be our chief media officer, there are hundreds of points we can gain by having an information booth, advertising our event in advance, being visited by an official, etc.
73,
Jim WX3B
