[K3PZN-List] UHF Repeater (Andy Leeds)

According to the responses I've gotten on the repeater-builder list the regulator circuit uses a stock transistor so hopefully I'll get off work early tomorrow, make a trip up to the site in the afternoon and at least verify that part is bad. There is also a hidden fuse under / behind that board so I need to check that as well.

If none of those options pan out we could put a 9.6V regulator in the SCCB (control board) housing, remove the fuse I mentioned and then the 9.6V would feed from the SCCB to the interconnect board which would in turn send it back out to the IPA and VCOs.

Andy,

How much current does this 9V regulator need to produce? I have plenty of 7809's since I was modifying every 9V radio I had to work off of 12+V at one time but I probably only have 7809's up to 1.5Amp.

Other than that I know I have 5Amp variable voltage regulators, similar to a 1.5A LM 317, which I could build up into a 9V 5A supply for you.
