Andy,
How much current does this 9V regulator need to produce? I have plenty of 7809's since I was modifying every 9V radio I had to work off of 12+V at one time but I probably only have 7809's up to 1.5Amp.
Other than that I know I have 5Amp variable voltage regulators, similar to a 1.5A LM 317, which I could build up into a 9V 5A supply for you.
