Carroll County Amateur Radio Club
Board of Director's Meeting Minutes
February 17, 2010

Present at the Board Meeting were Andy WO3L, Pete W3GVX, John AK3Z,  
Rich N3III, Chuck N3TOT, Curt WB8YYY, Steve N3SB, and guest Gene KB3JHR.

1) Nominations Committee: The committee formed last month, and  
nominations remain open. Currently there is a full slate.

2) Field Day: The BoD going to see if the adjacent clubs might be  
interested in working a joint effort.

3) Hamfest: Targeting August 15 and October 24.

4) March meeting topic: Elections will be held. Also - Drag and Brag –  
all members are encouraged to bring in a radio or a project and show  
it off to the group.

5) The DCS Committee is recommending that a chain & padlocks be  
procured to secure the club generator and county shelter kit boxes.

6) Holiday Party: Gene KB3JHR has volunteered to handle the Holiday  
Party gifts again.

7) The MS Walk is coming up on Sunday April 11, at the Farm Museum in  
Westminster.

8) The Silent Key plaque has been updated with an entry for Frank  
Rodski K3MTT and Dave Blanchard N3II.
