Just in case anyone has more extra time this weekend than I do -- a Az club is
providing video streaming of their annual conference - some nice technical
topics being presented - from FD, network analyzers and SDR. Nifty that a club
is willing to provide on-line what others pay (just a few bucks) to attend.
I see the URL below didn't forward as a URL - just paste it into your browser
without the brackets < > and it should run.
Do post to the list what you find interesting! OK that we all have different
interests.
Also - see Phil's important post.

Subject: [QRP-L] Fort Tuthill 2010 QRP Conference Update!!
IT'S HERE!! We'll begin with some rootin' tootin' thunderstorms on Friday
continuing into Saturday. This will make for an interesting weekend and the
first one that I know of with this kind of forecast. Bring your rain gear
if you are planning to come!
We have an update on the streaming video site. It is now:
<http://www.ustream.tv/channel/fort-tuthill-qrp>
We hope you'll look in beginning around 9am Mountain Standard Time or 1600Z
on Saturday, July 31st. We hope you'll join us there if you are not able to
attend. Check http://www.azscqrpions.org for details. Look for Fort
Tuthill 2010 in the left column. There are also detailed map links on that
page.
Jim Duffey (KK6MC) will have a presentation on How to stage a Competitive
QRP Field Day. Ned Stearns (AA7A) will speak on Antennas and Vector Network
Analyzers, Ward Harriman (AA6TY) on Software Defined Radios, and Ade Weiss
(W0RSP) from his upcoming book on Propagation. There will also be several
very short presentations.
Hope to see you there!
