Carroll County Amateur Radio Club
Meeting Minutes, 14-June-2010

President Andy Leeds WO3L brought the meeting to order at 7:37 PM.  
Eighteen members and three guests were present.

Introductions – All present at the meeting introduced themselves

Announcements - The next CCARC meeting will be on Monday July 12, 7:30  
PM at the Emergency Services Training Center in Westminster.

Presentation Topic: Field Day! Andy WO3L gave a presentation on how to  
set up and use the N1MM Logger Program.

Treasurer's Report – Pete W3GVX provided a report of the club's  
finances, with details on income and expenses.

Committee Reports:
ARES / RACES – The CCARC has been invited to participate in an  
Emergency Preparedness Expo on Saturday September 11, in the Lowe's  
parking lot. The Carroll County Hospital Center is currently building  
a radio communications room. All are reminded that the CARET net meets  
on Tuesdays at 8:30 PM on the 145.410 repeater.

Unfinished Business: There was no unfinished business from previous meetings.

New Business – Fiscal 2011 Proposed Budget review and approval. Andy  
WO3L and Pete W3GVX presented the proposed budget. John W3JJH motioned  
for approval, and Curt WB8YYY seconded. The budget was approved by the  
membership present.

General Comments: The club received an invite to provide some details  
of its activities for a story on non-profit organizations being  
prepared by the Carroll County Times.

Closing Comments:

Andy WO3L closed the meeting at 8:39 PM local time.
