I'll have to check the bios again.
The first time I checked it did not detect the IDE drive (listed as none)
But I forgot to look at the boot order (since it didn't list an IDE at all).
The USB drive is not connected.
I removed all peripherials but monitor, keyboard and mouse
(mouse is usb though if that matters)
In answer to Phil, after the 500GB drive was not detected I tried the
original 30GB with the same result.
And Steve's email reminded me that I hadn't checked the boot order
(but the BIOS does not detect either drive now?)
This bios, I don't think, won't let me turn off the PXE boot I can only
place it in the last order position. Unless there a keystroke not listed
that lets me disable.
I currently have the original 30GB drive in it I'll check bios options and
boot order again.
