Meeting Minutes, 08 March 2010

Vice-President Rich Mitchell N3III called the meeting to order at 7:55  
PM. Fourteen members and one guest were present.

The meeting started with introductions around the room.

Evening Presentation:

Drag & Brag – members brought interesting radio gear and projects for  
a show & tell.

Announcements:

The next CCARC meeting will be on Monday April 12th, 7:30 PM at the  
Emergency Services Training Center in Westminster.

The next Board meeting will be on Wednesday April 21st, 7:30 PM at the  
Emergency Services Training Center in Westminster.

 From the mailbag:

No mail was available.

Secretary’s Report: The January CCARC meeting report was accepted as  
published on the reflector, with additions from Pat Kilroy N8PK. The  
club did not have a February meeting, due to bad weather.

Treasurer’s Report: Pete W3GVX presented the treasurer’s report for  
February, detailing current balances, income, and expenses. The report  
was accepted by the membership present.

The MS Walk is coming up on Sunday April 11th, at the Farm Museum in  
Westminster.

Pat N8PK and Rich N3III are making plans to launce a PicEtSAT balloon  
at the Maryland State Convention, coming up at the end of March in  
Timonium.

Committee Reports:

ARES / RACES: The next RACES drill will be on Tuesday March 9th, 7:30  
PM at the EOC. The exercise scenario is a Medical Emergency  
Transportation Coordination Network Operation. Everyone is reminded  
that the CARET Net is held every Tuesday evening at 8:30 PM on the  
145.410 repeater.
